🔧 How to Get the Right Angle: 💡Tips


  1.  Place your dog on a bed, couch, or chair
  2. Then, you can Kneel or sit so you’re even with your dog’s head (not above or below)
  3. All photos must be taken at a parallel/eye-level angle with your dog.
  4. ❌ No upward or downward angles—we won’t be able to assess the fit if they aren’t
  • No pics lying down
  • No pics in costumes
  • No pics in a Cone (it is okay if the picture is not current if it can meet the guidelines below)
  • Maximum file size is 2MB
Your pet’s photo MUST be taken straight on at eye level. This ensures we get accurate sizing.

✅ DO:


✅ Take the photo straight on — directly facing your pet’s face
✅ Hold the camera at eye level — your pet’s eyes and the camera lens should be on the same level
✅ Use a parallel angle — not from above, below, or at a tilt
✅ Place your pet on a couch or table, then you can Kneel or sit so you’re even with your dog’s head 

✅ Leave a little space — not a super close-up; we need to see the full head clearly


❌ DON’T:


❌ Don’t take the photo looking down or looking up at your pet
❌ Don’t zoom in too closely — 


📷 Tip: Think of it like a professional ID or passport photo — but for your fur baby! 😄

This pic helps us see your pet’s head-to-body proportions.

✅ DO:


✅ Take a photo of your pet from the side — a full 90-degree side profile
✅ Make sure your pet is standing (not sitting or lying down)
✅ Capture the entire body and head in the pic — from nose to tail; not lying down

❌ DON’T:


❌ Don’t take the photo at an angle — it must be directly from the side
❌ Don’t crop out any part of the head, legs, or tail

(EXAMPLE)

It's very important that we receive a TRUE profile photo — not a partial or angled view.

✅ DO:


✅ A side view of your pet’s head — turned fully to the side at a 90-degree angle
✅ Taken at eye level (parallel to your pet’s head — not from above or below)
✅ The entire head visible — including the ear, muzzle, jawline, and neck
✅ No tilt or turn toward the camera — your pet should be looking straight ahead (not at you!)


❌ DON'T:


❌ Use angled shots — if you can see both eyes or the face is turned even slightly toward the camera, it’s not a proper profile

❌ Allow the head to tilt — up, down, or even a slight turn will affect accuracy

❌ Take photos from above or behind — the camera should always be at eye level and parallel to your pet
